Hidden Jazz Club

  • Bembridge Fort Culver Down Bembridge, England, PO36 8QP United Kingdom (map)

Something rather special happens beneath the walls of Bembridge Fort.

Step away from the ordinary and descend underground for an evening of live jazz, intimate atmosphere and exceptional musicianship at the Hidden Jazz Club, one of the Isle of Wight’s most unique live music experiences.

Following a series of sell-out evenings, the Hidden Jazz Club returns with another exceptional line-up, bringing together some of the Island’s finest jazz musicians and special guests for a night you won’t find anywhere else.

Olivia Cure & Mixed Messages

At the heart of the evening is the wonderful Olivia Cure with Mixed Messages, bringing their distinctive sound and energy to the Fort’s atmospheric underground Magazine Theatre.

Expect beautifully crafted vocals, outstanding musicianship and a repertoire that moves effortlessly between sophisticated jazz, familiar favourites and unexpected musical moments.

This is live music in a setting that feels made for it.

A Jazz Club Like No Other

There are no grand concert halls or rows of theatre seats here.

Instead, you’ll find yourself beneath the historic Fort, surrounded by original brickwork, atmospheric tunnels and the unmistakable character of a building with more than 150 years of stories behind it.

The lights go down. The music begins. The Fort becomes your jazz club for the evening.

Come with friends, bring a date, or simply come for the music, settle in, enjoy a drink from the bar and let the evening unfold.

A Firm Favourite — And Usually a Sell-Out

The Hidden Jazz Club has quickly become one of Bembridge Fort’s most popular evenings, with previous events selling out.

With a limited capacity inside the underground venue, tickets are deliberately kept limited to preserve the intimate atmosphere.

If you’ve been before, you’ll know. If you haven’t, this is your chance.

Doors open at 7:30pm and the live music begins at 8pm.
